Description: Some worlds are harder to leave than others. The books that inspired this painting had such a powerful grip on me that I read them twice from start to finish the first time I picked them up. And even then, I couldn’t get it out of my system.
This painting has become a symbol of reclamation, a return to creativity and a powerful reminder of just how capable we truly are. I’ve found that where dragons roam, whether it be a book or a painting, something hidden within each of us is revealed. It’s a mysterious alter ego that refuses to be silenced, the zero f***s given magic-wielding badass that lives in all of us.
I like to believe there was a time when magic was as strong and as tangible as the wind, and that perhaps, if we're open to it, it will find a way back to us.
